Psychiatric Triage Facility
Denton County MHMR Center has a 24- hour Psychiatric Triage Facility. Psychiatric Triage staff provide walk-in clinical assessments to individuals in crisis 24/7. Psychiatric Triage staff consist of Qualified Mental Health Professionals and Psychiatric Triage Clinic Assistants. The purpose of the clinical assessment is to determine an individual’s risk of harm themself or to others, and to determine the least restrictive treatment setting in which an individual can safely receive mental health services.
