Narrative

I work with children, teens, adults, couples and families. Some people that I work with are dealing with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation. They often come in feeling demoralized, confused about who they are and the world around them. Sometimes they feel abandoned, useless and empty. My counseling style is open, accepting, nonjudgmental and validating. I focus on helping people live in the moment, regulate feelings, develop coping skills for stress and improve interpersonal relationships. I work with individuals, couples, families, groups. I offer parent coaching as well.


I have been working with children and their families for 10 years and I aim for all therapy to focus on improving family relationships and the family dynamics, especially regarding communication. I am trained in DBT and EDMR and my ultimate goal is helping you increase resilience as well as identify and build a life that you experience as worth living.


If you are wanting to identify and create a life worth living and want to learn to live in the moment, regulate your emotions, develop coping mechanisms for the stress that you encounter and improve your intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships, call me and we can begin to work on these issues together.
