Narrative

Open and taking new clients! (in person/telehealth) The "ideal client" I imagine working with is an person who is having difficulty coping with:

  • anxiety
  • self-esteem
  • ADHD
  • relationships
  • battling with spiritual needs

I imagine being caring and compassion towards a person.  I give them space for their voice to heard and their story to be told. I imagine my ideal person would want "practical" but, "impactful" coping techniques to lessen symptoms. I imagine my "ideal" client wanting to regain "control" back into their lives. I want them to feel "empowered."

Our lives are like a puzzle. There are so many pieces that make up the big picture (a person). There are pieces that are lost along the way due to trauma, struggles, and unexpected outcomes. It makea it hard to see the big picture, to see ourselves. My goal as a therapist is to help put those missing puzzle pieces together.  We can have a deeper understanding of how those experiences have changed us. As a therapist, I seek to fix those missing puzzle pieces that have caused deep hurt to a person's identity. I seek to unpack the brokenness. I want to give hope, and encourage open talk with people I see.
