Narrative
At UTH we help children and adults become leaders. We want to raise their self-esteem, self-confidence, and social skills.
Our staff is trained to work with people who have been diagnosed with a lot of disabilities including:
- autism
- LD
- IDD
- AD/HD
- brain injuries
- emotional and behavioral disorders
People in our programs often do not have named "diagnoses". They may be gifted, shy, or lack self-confidence. We also have programs for those with more needs. Needs can be behavorial, cognitive, speech, or physical challenges.
At UTH, we have programs to meet varied social needs. All are centered around the belief that learning should be fun and natural. We have social skills groups, summer camps, groups for teens and adults. We have social events. Opportunities for parents, too. We have individual and family therapy.
Our programs vary but several use real life video from sessions. All include numerous social opportunities, with many having outings. Most have built in feedback for parents. The Denton and Frisco sites have large play rooms and yards for social play.
Cost per Session: $20 - $30
