Narrative

I am a passionate Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Dance and Movement Therapist. I have worked in schools, community agencies and outpatient settings for more than 10 years. I provide therapeutic support to children/ adolescents, individual adults and families. I utilize techniques from several theoretical perspectives, including wrap-around treatment model and person-centered care, with consideration of environmental influences on a social, cultural and generational level.


My work is solution focused and trauma informed, implementing behavioral analysis and behavior modification with considerations of early childhood and human development. My therapeutic practice includes expressive arts and dance and movement therapy to help uncover underlying causes and gain better awareness and insight for long-term change.


With compassion and understanding in my work with individuals and families, the focus is to assist you in identifying your patterns of interaction and underlying feelings/thoughts that drive those behaviors. We then move on to constructively learn how to effectively express those feelings to improve your interpersonal relationships.
