Narrative

I am excited to help people who struggle with depression and anxiety. I have a full career working for Child Protective Services (not as a therapist). I understand the impact of childhood trauma. It has an impact on children  as they grow into adulthood. I am caringand believe that everyone has the ability to change and can bounce back. I also have experience counseling in domestic violence, anger management and trauma. I ran a Batterer's Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP) for over 5 years.

My main areas are domestic violence, anger management and trauma. I mostly use Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused tools. I am able to help with depression, anxiety, loss and grief.

I truly feel that people have the power to change. People are often stronger that they believe or give themselves credit for. I have always liked working with people to overcome problems in their lives. Challenges in our lives can make us stronger. Sometimes, we just need extra help.
