Narrative

I work with children, teens and adults on a variety of issues. Most of my work is based on the principles of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My therapy plans are goal-oriented, with specific, measurable steps so that you can track progress. I will help you discover the "problem behind the problem".  We'll work together to find answers. I enjoy working with with people on many types of issues. I have quite a bit of extra training in working with children with ADHD and their parents, as well as with people with Asperger's-type autism.

Children, teens and adults with ADHD and Asperger's-type autism are areas of focus for my practice. I have developed a unique system of identifying strengths and weaknesses related to ADHD/ASD brain functioning, and then creating a personalized plan to improve life (e.g., school, work, home, relationships).

My goal is to meet people where they are. I look beyond surface symptoms to determine root issues, and then develop plans to move forward. The Adulting Program for young adults with ASD includes individual therapy, family meetings, and daily check-in to help with the transition to adulthood.
