Narrative

I am a Licensed Psychologist with specialized training in the evaluation of autism, learning disabilities, intellectual, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and behavioral difficulties. I treat adults, adolescents and children. I have a holistic/integrative approach which focuses on the relationship between mind, body, and spirit attempting to understand and address the ways issues in one aspect of a person can lead to concerns in other areas. With an integrative approach to mental health and wellness, I am available to collaborate with your other health providers (e.g., psychiatrists, holistic/alternative/functional medicine doctors).
While I am not against medical treatment or meds, and I support the usefulness of prescription drugs to suppress difficult experiences, I am a firm believer that clients and parents need to know about the risks of psychiatric meds as well as alternative treatment options for themselves and their children.
I speak Spanish fluently and I have published several research articles related to the evaluation and intervention of culturally and linguistically diverse students.
