Narrative

Karen is a trained child/ adolescent and play therapist with a passion for developing healthy, happy humans. She is dedicated to connection, unconditional regard, and providing a secure place for exploration and growth. Karen has a background in education as a developmental and behavior-based Speech Therapist and has been honored to work with children and adolescents with autism, behavior, and other special needs. She is also a trained victim’s advocate and works with clients needing trauma support using trauma- informed therapeutic techniques. I am able to offer child, adolescent and family therapy with creativity, unconditional regard and a joyful heart. Survivors of trauma have distinct needs for connection and growth, including accepting characteristics of Dissociative Identity Disorder. I look forward to personal connection and providing a secure place for self discovery and growth.
