Narrative

Adolescents and young adults with trauma backgrounds may often feel "alone, misunderstood, and numb." It can be tiring going through daily motions without a clear sense of purpose or feeling of belonging. As a counselor, I offer competencies in neurodevelopment, complex trauma, family systems, first responder stress, and years of experience in social work that often translates to the understanding and validation that clients experience in their first session of therapy. I work with my clients to establish clear and measurable goals. My approach to counseling is collaborative in nature. Clients want and deserve to be understood.


Certified Autism Specialist trained in providing services to adolescents and adults on the Autism Spectrum. Additionally, I work with college students dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, and life transitions. Our Huntsville office is located in close proximity to the SHSU campus for ease of navigation. * First Responder Therapist
