Narrative

Just like going to the doctor, sometimes we need an emotional checkup. Counseling is an opportunity for you to work on yourself, relationships, goals, depression/anxiety, ADHD and other issues or diagnoses preventing you from living life as you wish to. Each session belongs to the client--it is your place to focus solely on you. My experience includes eight years of individual and family therapy. Additionally, I have 10 years of experience working with family dynamics in academic, learning disorders and life skills coaching as well as academic counseling.


My passion lies in working with adults and adolescents to reduce stress and manage mood challenges in their lives through a holistic approach with a focus on family and social dynamics. I specialize in helping others through transitions and role progression, easing the individual through changes in his or her personal or professional life.

Ours will be a collaborative relationship in which we work together openly and honestly to create a greater understanding of your unique self and your relationships with others, identify attainable short and long-term goals, process emotions, enhance self-esteem, and instill hope through the altering of thoughts and behaviors.
