Narrative

As a social worker, I enjoy helping others cope with  challenges they face. From my social work experience, I found that counseling provides a way for me to help people to work through difficult life situations. They can grow as a result. Through counseling we will work together to discover your own strengths. Building on those strengths, we will find solutions and ways to help you with life's challenges. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work at St. Louis University and Master of Social Work from the University of Houston.


I work with children and adults facing more than one issue. I have experience with chronic illness, caregiver stress, grief/trauma, domestic violence, mental health disorders, stressful life events, parenting/family issues. I work with clients to find the best counseling approach for their unique needs.  I use play therapy for younger clients.


In addition to individual therapy, we also offer group therapy options. At this time, we offer a Senior Group, a Women's Group and a Men's Group.
