Therapy will provide another "pair of eyes" that can help you explore life to get back on track. I have significant experience in helping children and adult clients with the following: Feeling “stuck”, anxiety, stress, depression, substance abuse, childhood/family issues, couple's issues, adolescent adjustment, grief/bereavement, low self-esteem/confidence, trauma (flashbacks, nightmares, intrusive thoughts, P.T.S.D. and/or abuse – sexual, physical, emotional), anger management, assertiveness, weight loss, and legal issues.


Scott has been trained in a variety of approaches. His work is based on the eclectic principles of cognitive behavioral treatment, EMDR (Certified), Hypnosis, Brainspotting, mindfulness, non-duality, EFT (Tapping), client-centered therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, object relations therapy, ego state therapy, and motivational interviewing.


Scott has worked in the mental health field since 1993. In the past, he has worked as a counselor, supervisor, consultant, trainer, and business owner in a variety of settings (i.e. community outpatient - mental health & substance abuse, adult and juvenile corrections, court system, and outpatient based medically assisted treatment.
