Narrative

I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. I have years of experience in working with children, teens, and adults with diverse issues- specifically trauma. I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am also an Animal Assisted Therapist. I partner with my therapy dog, Destiny, in most counseling sessions. I have worked with children throughout my career as a trained play therapist. I also have experience working with people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, anger, or relationship issues.


If you choose, Destiny and I can join you on a therapeutic walk during your session. We want to help you reconnect with nature. Being outdoors provides a breath of fresh air. It is a freeing place to be able to work through your worries and struggles. I will work with you so that your experience feels comfortable, positive, and productive!


I also provide counseling services in Spanish. I have extensive experience working with the Latino community. I look forward to joining you on your journey towards healing. I will foster an place to help you regain a sense of hope and confidence.
