Narrative

At the Child Behavior Center we work with you, and with your child. To help a child, we must help mom and dad too! We assist you in looking at the ups and downs of often puzzling child behavior. We work in treating high functioning autism (Aspergers Syndrome in the past,) PDD (pervasive developmental delay), Many children have behavior problems and challenges. We make treatment plans for neuroatypical, developmentally challenged children, children with high anxiety, anger, aggression, and sensory overload, for example A partner for these problems is often social rejection.


What follows is self esteem problems. Either getting in trouble at school or making but not keeping friends. Plenty of kids without autism may have some of these problems too. The Behavior Center treats any child with difficult behavior and social differences.


Along with all this comes the importance of parenting - "how do I get my child to respond." The two parts of making this better are: suggesting additional ways of guiding and interacting with your child, and helping you communicate with each other as parents. This reduces the tension our kids' feel and calms their behavior. There is way!
