Narrative

Depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, etc. are all very real parts of our lives.  They frequently are not talked about or handled poorly. Counseling is your chance to have those hard things handled well. As your counselor, I want to walk alongside you in the journey to mental wellness, with empathy and expertise. I want to provide a safe, non judgemental space that encourages growth and healing. I am committed to addressing the whole person, not just your symptoms. I believe that we are made body, mind, and soul.  Effective counseling must look at all three.

I practice from an eclectic approach, most influenced by cognitive behavioral theory, and integrated with my faith as a Christian. I offer Biblical counseling as requested! I specialize in depression, anxiety, and grief. I am especially passionate about walking alongside those with developmental disabilities and their families.
