Narrative

With over 17 years of experience providing a broad range of mental health services, my current practice strongly emphasizes providing therapeutic interventions for children with behavioral and emotional challenges, while also welcoming the opportunity to work with families, individuals and couples needing counseling services. Over the course of my career, I have gained experience in many elements of the mental health field. Some of those include clinical intake, general counseling, marital counseling, crisis intervention, crisis management, facilitating psychoeducational groups, and child behavior management.

I have worked as a behavior specialist and special education counselor at a Texas school district and provided mental health services for incarcerated youth deemed by the Court to be delinquent. With a Master of Arts in Psychology from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, I specialize in FBA's(functional bh ax) and counseling services.

I am a trained CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteer; and, when not working or spending time with family, I love yoga. “My family and I have been welcomed so beautifully by neighbors, colleagues, and others, I’m very excited to give back to our community."
