I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I work with children & adolescents, individuals, couples, families, and forensic cases. I specialize in eating disorders, addictions, obesity, weight loss surgery, body image, self-worth, codependency, childhood trauma, grief & death, juvenile and adult offenders, dual diagnoses, and severe psychiatric disorders. I began working with a diverse population in 2004.I help my clients find their voice rather than using self-destructive behaviors or allowing their diagnosis to become them. I have a unique ability to understand the words that we do not speak and challenge my clients to be true to themselves and the world in which they live.

My extensive background includes outpatient mental health, crisis stabilization, parenting, anger management, skills training, medication education, addiction, relapse & recovery, juvenile delinquency, and adult & juvenile justice diversionary program and forensic services. Specialty: Eating disorders & trauma; C&A.

Forensic services, REBT, Solution Focused, Narrative techniques, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Certified Anger Resolution Therapist, Girls Circle Facilitator, DBT, trauma informed care approach and family system approach.
