Narrative

Building a strong personal connection with people is the basis for success. Making a roadmap is  the beginning. A  map helps people track their own progress. I believe it's good for people to feel a true sense of accomplishment. throughout their therapeutic journey of self-discovery. I've been a counselor for over 25 years. I’ve been lucky to work with people of all ages. They have many needs. I have skills to help people, families and couples walk through the rough spots. 


My expertise includes testing, diagnosing, evaluating and treating a wide range of emotional disorders as well as developmental disorders and chemical dependency issues. I use CBT, didactic methods, role-play, meditation, progressive relaxation, and other therapeutic approaches, based on the unique needs of the individual, couple, family or group.
I understand the struggles of relational issues, divorce and parenthood, the pros and cons of mid-life and aging, the challenges of balancing blended families, empty-nesting, and grief. Life has blessed me with real-life experiences that many of my clients are facing daily. I look forward to assisting you, in your personal journey of self-discovery.
