Narrative

Do you know that something needs to change for your child or family, but you aren’t sure where to start or what kind of services to seek? As a psychologist, I have expertise in children and teenagers, mental health care, psychological testing, and diagnosis. As a parent/caregiver, you have expertise in your child, family, and your child’s life story. You know what you’ve already tried, and what has or hasn’t helped. I know what other options are out there, and how to figure out which options will be a good fit. Let’s work together to determine the best path forward to support your child.

I provide psychological assessment to answer questions about diagnosis and treatment options. I also offer parent consultation and brief assessment. I can test for specific diagnoses such as ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, trauma symptoms, anxiety, depression, etc.. but can also help you answer general questions such as, "Why does my child get so mad?"

I also offer therapy for kids and teens dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, or other concerns. I regularly involve parents in session to give you the tools you need to support your child at home and reinforce the skills learned in therapy.
