Narrative

I am a licensed master of social work (LMSW). I worked with children who have special needs, like Autism. The past few years I worked with young children, teens, and parents who have been through many traumas.  I like to look at the question of "What has happened to you?". Helping the person overcome their personal trauma and seeing the growth and positive outcomes of healing, has to be the most rewarding part of the therapeutic process.

In my work, I enjoy building off multiple modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing amongst other forms of therapy to find the best fit for my client. It is important in my practice to guide the client to healing and empowerment.
