Narrative
It is an act of bravery to see a counselor. To sit with your fears, worries, and troubling memories can be hard. Doing so can be good for one's growth, healing and well being. You are giving yourself the gifts of self-love and self-acceptance. YOU deserve it. Your whole self is welcome in our work together. I try to provide a safe, no judgment space. I believe the mind, body, and spirit are joined. This supports a good model of health.
The last five years, I worked with people with disabilities. I worked with their support teams, too. One thing I know for sure, people can bounce back.
