Narrative

I believe that sometimes in our lives we need help with difficult decisions and challenging life circumstances. Psychotherapy can be beneficial to every person. Teens and children often need specialized treatment to help them become competent independent adults. Parents seek to have their children develop healthy values and beliefs. Getting these behaviors to take root requires a clear plan, based on sound scientific theory. This can be a challenging and frustrating journey. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques based on years of experience to identify my clients needs and provide the best direction.
I provide a relaxed setting where individuals feel safe to explore issues. I foster an atmosphere that allows clients to connect with each other when appropriate and feel a positive energy central to my practice.

My career is grounded in the treatment of behavioral and emotional disorders in children and adolescents. In addition I have spent many years working with couples and individuals coping with life changing issues. I find my work particulary rewarding.
