Narrative
You may have had a traumatic event or traumatic relationship. It was recently or in the past. You are wondering when you are ever going to feel like yourself again. You may be having anxiety, grief, depression or trouble sleeping on a daily basis. Or maybe you aren't here for yourself. Perhaps you are looking to find help for your child. Your child is struggling making friends. They are dealing with a trauma themselves. They are living with a disability. Well, I am glad you are here! It's brave to reach out and find support! I want to making counseling inclusive, shared, and hope-filled for all.
While I have been widely trained in various ways, I most often use an Integrative Approach that frequently focuses on Person-Centered, Choice Theory/Reality Therapy, & Multi-Cultural Therapy. I also specifically trained in EMDR & am training in TF-CBT. I enjoy working with children & adults who have experienced trauma, grief,& chronic illness.
I was born as a differently-abled person. I come to this work as someone who has a lot of lived experience with various problems and types of loss. I am someone who sought out counseling in the past. I know how important it is to find a counselor who is both skilled and trustworthy. I hope you'll choose to bravely heal with my support.
