Narrative

I am welcoming new people who want counseling.   I like to work with people who want more than short-term problem relief. I want to help you make meaningful and long term changes. I enjoy working with people who want to better understand themselves. They want to make their life better. They have problems like:

• anxiety
• lack of confidence
• life transitions 
• dating, friends, family relationships

I'm here to help you build self-awareness. You can understand how you came to think, feel, and act as you do now.  I will help you to use that awareness and understanding. You can learn good coping skills. You can grow self-acceptance and use your strengths. You can live in a way that fits with YOUR own values and goals.
You may not be sure where to start. I want you to reach out to me. I offer free 15-minute phone chats. This lets me  answer some of your questions. It lets you have an idea of what it may be like to work with me. I am currently accepting people for virtual counseling. I work in some states covered by PSYPACT.
